More Ways to Help

Advocate. Foster. Volunteer. We are always in need of fosters and volunteers to help us! We offer short term foster opportunities and longer term ones. We are always looking for people to open their homes to a dog without one.

Any amount of time you can donate to volunteering is greatly appreciated and we are happy to work with you to find the volunteer task/role that will work with your schedule and availability.

Donate. Funds over $20 are eligible for a tax reciept.

More about us

Community Impact

Provide safe foster-based environment to rescued dogs Increase pet retention through behavior training, spay/neuter First Nations’ dogs program, animal safekeeping program A safe keeping program for victims fleeing domestic violence Hospital care program to provide care for owned dogs while their owners receive medical treatment.

Financial Breakdown

Donations are used for medical bills, dog food and other dog related care items for the dogs in our care. We provide 3 different community outreach programs alongside with our foster program. We are a registered charity in good standing. Every dog receives proper medical care while with New Hope. This will range from the basics (vaccinations, deworming, microchip, spay/neuter), while others will require more extensive care (anything from dental work, to corrective surgery, to treatment of skin conditions).

Our Philosophy

To provide a safe, foster-based environment for neglected and unwanted dogs, while promoting the human/animal bond through education and community outreach. We aim to reduce and resolve dog overpopulation in Saskatchewan, to provide safe foster-based environment to rescued dogs, to increase pet retention through behavior training, we offer a spay/neuter First Nations’ dogs program, and an animal safekeeping program, while providing necessary medical care to dogs and educating the public.

Programs and Services

We have several programs including an animal safe keeping program, a First Nations’ dogs spay and return program, hospital care program, and foster homes for stray and surrender dogs.
