By volunteering at EGADZ you attain valuable work experience and provide a tremendous service for the youth and the community. But most importantly it is fun!

Purging your closets and garage? Moving? Buying new furniture? Overflowing garden or freezer? Or just thinking about how your stuff can help Saskatoon’s at-risk youth help themselves? We are ALWAYS looking for the above items that will directly benefit youth in your community! Please date and label any meats. Health regulations require that toiletries are in unopened packaging.

More about us

Community Impact

The impact in our community due to the services we offer Youth at risk is shown by outcome measures. We work with Youth to help them make good choices for themselves, hopefully ending with becoming contributing citizens in our community. EGADZ does case planning with all the Youth we serve and keeps track of them on our database. We are outcomes-based and over our thirty years in operation we’ve made a huge difference in many Youth’s lives.

Financial Breakdown

Financial Donations will go directly to our frontline services for the Programs EGADZ runs. All of the programs we offer have been driven by the Youth and their needs to succeed. Our Residential Program has been very successful. Our Drop In Centre is the start for some of the Youth that stop in, enabling us to begin relationships with Youth helping them meet their needs to succeed.

We are a non-profit community-based organization that provides programs and services to children, youth and their families in making healthy choices that improves their quality of life. We are visionary leaders, catalysts and advocates for ensuring that children and youth have a voice in determining the programs and services that best meet their needs. We accept others unconditionally and without judgment. We are open, honest and respectful in our communications. We work collaboratively with our clients, staff and the community.

Programs and Services

EGADZ has a Drop In Centre, Day and School Program, Classroom, Teen Parenting Program, Outreach Services, Operation Help, Operation Runaway, Action to Employment Program, Residential Services, Mental Health Home, Child Care Centre. We have a strong management team and our staff of Youth Workers help the Youth with schooling, appointments, addictions. In our residential as well as our Drop In Centre each Youth has a case plan.
