Financial gifts

Financial donations help cover the costs of the many programs Care & Share offers to the students in over 20 inner-city and community schools in Saskatoon. These programs were requested by the schools. One such program is the Dignity Fund which purchases items of necessity such as winter coats and boots, clothing, personal hygiene items and lice shampoo. Any donation, big or small, makes a big difference to a child and helps us create smiles.

More about us

Community Impact

Care & Share supports children in over 20 inner-city and community schools to ensure they have what they need to stay in school.

Financial Breakdown

Donations are used to support the number of programs offered to the students in the schools. Many donations come in for the Dignity Fund which provides items of necessity for the children. Care & Share gives Walmart, Visa or Mastercard cards to the schools to purchase what the student needs when they need it. These are items that should be coming from home but for many reasons are not. Items include winter coats, boots, all winter wear, shoes, clothing, underwear, personal hygiene items and lice shampoo. Financial donations are required for the School Supplies Program. We are currently looking for a title sponsor for this program.

Our Philosophy

Our goal is to connect Saskatoon’s businesses, schools, and the community to give less fortunate children the same opportunities, education, dignity, hope, and role models, that every child deserves. Our mission is to ensure all children have an opportunity to develop all of their potential: in sports, in school, in culture and in recreation. Our vision is to build a better community, one kid at a time. Most of all, we work to put smiles on these children’s faces and give them pride in what they do. This confidence and support is what will motivate them to achieve in the future.
