Financial gifts

Donations are gratefully accepted and disbursed as needed, or according to the donor’s directed purpose. LutherCare serves over 1,100 residents and clients who have diverse needs, and affordable care is a recurring concern. Donations enable LutherCare to continue supporting the needs of our residents and over 500 team members who care for our residents. As a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency charitable receipts are issued for donations.

Volunteer time:

Yes! LutherCare Communities is always looking for new volunteers. All ages, from youth to seniors, are welcome! We have a variety of opportunities for volunteers to help at LutherCare Communities. Volunteers can help support our residents and team members in programs and other services, or visit with our residents on an individual basis. The following are regular volunteer opportunities at LutherCare Communities: Aqua Therapy Assistant, Chapel Assistant, Day Program Assistant, Dining Room Assistant, Friendly Visitor, Hairdresser Assistant, Pet Visitation, Recreation Program Assistant, Spiritual Care, Walking Program Assistant

Community Impact

LutherCare Communities provides excellence in care, shelter, and support to Saskatchewan’s seniors and residents for over 67 years. Currently serving over 1,100 residents and clients across Saskatchewan, LutherCare operates within a resident first culture, offering a multitude of services to meet various needs. Services are consciously designed in a multicultural and ecumenically sensitive way and are inclusive of a broad economic and social spectrum. LutherCare Communities residents and team members organize and participate in a variety of activities supporting charities, events, and causes across the province.

Financial Breakdown

Donations are directed to priorities identified within LutherCare Communities for the benefit of residents and their care such as equipment, transportation, or quality of life options as an example. LutherCare is a registered charity in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency, charitable receipts are issued for donations. You may see our charity’s detail page through the Canada Revenue Agency’s website, we are fully transparent with how all donations are used, and are audited every year for complete accountability to donors.
