More about us

Community Impact

OUTSaskatoon’s services work to improve the health and well-being of 2SLGBTQ people of all ages and backgrounds. We work to increase the acceptance and celebration of 2SLGBTQ people across the community through our education and advocacy. We have an organization-wide evaluation strategy that we operate in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan’s Psychology Department. We measure our impacts qualitatively and quantitatively.

Financial Breakdown

We work to honour the wishes of our donors. Most donations go to Pride Home, our social and support groups, our mental health services, and to our food programs that operate through our drop-in centre.

Our Philosophy

OUTSaskatoon seeks to support a thriving and connected 2SLGBTQ community in a world where they are celebrated and able to enjoy full, free, and open lives. Our mandate is to uplift 2SLGBTQ people by leading, serving, and supporting in a dynamic community. We foster physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health through intentional services and meaningful engagement.

Programs and Services

OUTSaskatoon provides support services (counselling, support groups, community engagement and events), education to schools and businesses, 2SLGBTQ housing through Pride Home, and community referrals. We provide services face-to-face through our drop-in program, counselling program, and community referrals. As well we provide educational services in classrooms and online. Also, we provide direct housing support through Pride Home.
