Safe Consumption Site: Prairie Harm Reduction operates Saskatchewan’s First Safe Consumption Site. This service prevents overdoses and other adverse medical effects associated with using drugs by having people use drugs under the observation of a Primary Care Paramedic.

This program is exclusively funded by fundraising dollars. Donate if you are able.

We also conduct qualitative client surveys to determine that we are meeting their needs.

Our Philosophy

Everyone should feel safe, valued, and that their life has improved. We serve people who use drugs, and people living with and at-risk of HIV, and Hepatitis C. Our mandate is to serve people at-risk for and affected by HIV and HepC by reducing discrimination and deaths, removing barriers, pursuing innovation and demonstrating evidence-based outcomes.

Programs and Services

Through two outreach teams, and at our Drop-In Centre we offer Support Services, a Family Support Program, a Drop-In Centre and Safe Consumption Site, and professional development. These services include systems navigation, housing, transportation, and advocacy for people with and without children. We have a safe space for people who use drugs to access services in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
