Money raised for the Ukrainian Museum of Canada is used to create fun, engaging educational and public programs that delight people of all ages and all cultural backgrounds. It allows us to create and maintain exhibits and our collections. Your gift supports the conservation and restoration of museum artifacts and the building itself, which bring Ukrainian cultural heritage in Canada to life. The Museum’s building, constructed in 1980, also has need of several renovations to ensure accessibility and minimize our carbon footprint. Your donation will ensure that we can keep Ukrainian culture and arts, and a vast range of stories from Ukrainian Canadians, at the forefront of Canadian awareness long into the future.
The Museum seeks volunteers with an interest in Ukrainian and Ukrainian Canadian culture and heritage to greet and guide visitors and work at our Museum gift shop; lead or assist in workshops and special events; assist in cataloguing our library (must read Ukrainian); and assist in an inventory of our permanent collection. Training will be provided to all volunteers.
We accept financial donations online (through our website), and by cheque or cash (delivered in person or by mail).
