The Point in Time Homelessness Count are currently looking for volunteers. This is a one-day event where volunteers go out into the community to have discussions regarding homelessness. These discussions are primarily facilitated through surveys and will help Saskatoon Housing Intiatives, as well as our community, get a better idea of how homelessness is affecting Saskatoon.
In this single-day count, volunteers gather a clearer picture of homeless trends in Saskatoon so we as a community can better understand and help.
They are currently looking for volunteers to help the event on April 28th. Shifts are for four hours on that day, and there’s a three-hour training session on April 26th (in person) or the 27th, which is done virtually. Having your own cellphone is preferred.
